Why I'm Running

Introductory photo

Florida isn’t working for the people who make this state great.

For a long time now, working families have been asked to carry more and more — higher rent, higher insurance, higher healthcare costs — while the people at the top keep taking more for themselves.

If you work hard, play by the rules, and still feel like you’re falling behind, you’re not imagining it. That’s the system doing exactly what it was designed to do. And the people in power know it.

Instead of fixing what’s broken, they’ve chosen a different strategy: divide us, distract us, and keep us fighting each other while corporate donors and political insiders keep calling the shots.

I believe most Floridians want the same basic things: a good-paying job, access to quality healthcare, strong public schools, and a home they can actually afford.

But instead of delivering that, politicians keep siding with greedy corporations that drive up costs while raking in record profits. All while working families are left to pick up the tab.

That’s why I’m refusing corporate PAC and lobbyist money. Because I don't believe you can fix a broken system if you're funded by the same people who broke it.

If we’re ever going to move Florida forward, it won’t be by playing it safe or promising the bare minimum. It will be by giving people something real to believe in — a future that actually feels worth fighting for.

This moment demands it.

Our rights, our democracy, and our communities are under direct attack.

ICE raids. Abortion bans. Voter suppression. Censorship. This is what happens when extremists face uninspired resistance.

But there’s another truth that gives me hope: across Florida and across the country, people are speaking out and demanding more.

They want leaders who make their lives easier. Leaders who spend less time making excuses and more time delivering real results for working people.

That means affordable housing.

Universal healthcare.

A living wage.

Paid family leave.

An economy and government that works for people — not corporations.

I belive all that and more are possible, but only if we’re willing to fight for them and build real grassroots power.

I’m running because I’m ready to fight.
