Families across our community are being crushed by rising rent, insurance, healthcare, and utility costs while wages struggle to keep up.

I’ll fight to lower everyday costs by raising wages, eliminating or reducing toll burdens, passing paid leave for pregnant workers, expanding Florida's Pre-K program, and putting money back in working families’ pockets through a state Earned Income Tax Credit.

Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.

That means everyone should have equal access to quality healthcare, and no one should have a better chance of surviving an illness, or getting treatment for a chronic illness, based on how much money they have.

I’ll fight for a no-cost, statewide healthcare system guaranteeing coverage for ALL Floridians and to bring services closer to the people who need them.

MAGA extremism is destroying our democracy and stripping away our freedoms. Meanwhile, corporate donors have more influence than working class families.

I'll fight to call out Tallahassee corruption, pass stronger ethics laws, get big money out of politics, pass automatic voter registration, expand voting access, advance legislation to end political gerrymandering, champion national popular vote, and make sure our elected officials are held accountable.

Rent and property insurance prices skyrocket while wages remain stagnant.

I'll fight against raids to the Sadowsky Housing Trust Fund, take on corporate landlords to lower housing costs, advocate for private-public partnerships for employer-assisted and corporate-supported housing, and fight to limit rate increases on costs like utilities, rent, and property insurance.

I believe protecting our community means protecting the environment. We all deserve access to clean air, water, and energy.

I’ll fight to defend our aquifer and waterways, invest in clean energy that lowers bills and creates jobs, and hold polluters accountable so Florida remains livable for future generations.

Politicians should not be making personal healthcare decisions for families.

I’ll fight to restore reproductive freedom, expand maternal healthcare access, work to address the Black maternal mortality crisis, and make sure women and families can get the care they need without government interference.

Florida has been plagued by short-sighted, politically-motivated anti-immigrant policies that demonize immigrant communities, destabilize businesses, separate families, and spread fear.

We need an approach that values the dignity and economic contribution of immigrants—not just as workers, but as integral members of the larger Florida family

I'll fight to block state cooperation with mass deportation efforts, restore in-state tuition for Dreamers and TPS holders, and repeal anti-immigrant laws like SB1718 and the TRUMP Act.

Every child deserves a fair shot, no matter their ZIP code.

I’ll fight to raise teacher pay, protect public education from political interference, expand hands-on learning opportunities, and make free breakfast and lunch available to every student in Florida public schools.

Florida’s property insurance crisis is crushing homeowners and renters.

I’ll fight to hold insurance companies accountable, stop rate hikes that protect corporate profits, and stabilize the market so families can actually afford to live in their homes.

I’ve seen firsthand how our justice system can fail communities, especially Black and brown families. Our justice system should help people rebuild their lives, not trap them forever.

That means reducing gain-time to reward good behavior, expanding Florida’s Second Look law, legalizing marijuana and clearing old records, building on commonsense police accountability measures, investing in rehabilitation and educational services.

After two mass shootings in Florida – one at Pulse and another at Marjory Stoneman Douglas – Republican leaders still refuse to enact common sense gun reforms.

We deserve better than that.

To protect our community, I'll fight to strengthen licensing requirements and mandate universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers, ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

Strong unions built Florida’s middle class — and workers deserve power again.

As a proud CWA union member, I’ll fight to protect collective bargaining rights, stop union-busting efforts, and make sure working people have a voice on the job.

I believe in smart growth that protects our environment and ensures equitable, sustainable growth for all, not just prioritizing development interests.

I’ll fight for smart planning, expanded public transit options and broadband access, infrastructure upgrades, and protection of natural lands so communities can grow without endless traffic and sprawl.

Local communities should control local utilities — not Tallahassee politicians.

I’ll fight to restore local control of Gainesville Regional Utilities to the people it serves, because affordable water and electric bills are essential to keeping families in their homes.
