Universal Healthcare
Universal Healthcare
Healthcare in Florida depends too much on how much money you have.
Too many families skip doctor visits because of cost. People ration medication. Seniors worry about medical bills. And working families who do everything right still end up one illness away from financial disaster.
Florida also still hasn’t fully expanded Medicaid under Republican leadership, leaving hundreds of thousands without affordable coverage options. Healthcare shouldn’t work like this.
I believe healthcare is a human right. No one should have a better chance of surviving an illness based on their income or ZIP code.
That means moving Florida toward universal coverage that guarantees access to care for everyone, expanding community clinics, bringing healthcare services closer to underserved communities, and protecting reproductive healthcare access.
As your State Representative, I’ll fight to:
Move Florida toward universal healthcare coverage
Expand access to community and rural health clinics
Lower prescription drug costs
Protect reproductive healthcare access
Ensure mental health care is accessible and affordable
